JOSH JACOBS EXEMPT LIST
Packers running back Josh Jacobs was put on the NFL commissioners exempt list Sunday morning ruling him ineligible to play or get paid until his court date in mid November. After his arrest in May, and finally being charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal damages to property last Thursday, it left the Packers looking for answers. The Packers seem to have confidence in the third year running back behind Jacobs, Marshawn Lloyd, to fill in his shoes. Lloyd has only played one game for the past two seasons because he sustained injuries but shows a lot of potential without the injuries. In response to the Jacobs ruling, on Sunday the Packers announced a trade deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers for their running back Kaleb Johnson in hopes to strengthen the running back room.
